The last of our 10-part Wisdom Meditation series, intended for new and seasoned meditators alike. We will join together to meditate in a welcoming and uplifting group setting. Each event in the series features a different meditation technique. We have carefully selected the order of each technique in the series so you can progress in developing your skills in relaxation, breathing, focus, concentration, compassion and higher consciousness. We will discuss the science and benefits of meditation, why and when you may choose the specific meditation technique of the week, and real life examples of how meditation has been powerful and meaningful in the lives of our teachers and participants. There will also be some light physical movement and plenty of time for meditation and questions.
This evening will be led by Heather Berg, an experienced and inspiring yoga teacher and meditation guide. She will lead us through a Yoga Nidra practice to bring deep relaxation, counteract stress and fatigue, heal the nervous system and allow for a process of letting go to remember the unchanging part of you. Please have a yoga mat, a small pillow for your head and a small cloth to cover your eyes.
Pre-registration is required. You will receive a Zoom link at the time you register. If you don’t receive it, please contact us at least 30 minutes prior to the class start time via TEXT at 561-654-6847. The Zoom meeting room will open approximately 30 minutes before the class starts. Please join at least 15 minutes early to make sure we can address any questions you may have about Zoom and to give you time to settle in.
