The third of our 8-part Wisdom Meditation series, intended for new and seasoned meditators alike. We will join together to meditate in a welcoming and uplifting group setting. Each event in the series features a different meditation technique.
What Will I Learn?
This evening will be led by Anna Crane, an experienced and inspiring meditation guide who is trained in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition.
She will explain that we don’t need to sit with our eyes closed to reach a meditative state. Using walking and other methods, Anna will show us how to bring awareness and clarity to our daily lives. There will be a brief overview of the techniques, some light physical movement and plenty of time for meditation and discussion.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Tea and light refreshments will be served. Meditation cushions and blankets will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!
